No-bake energy bites made with real food ingredients! Packed with whole grains and healthy fats from nut butter, these bites will be your new favorite snack.
As a mom of 3 boys, you know I’ve had my share of throwing balls, riding bikes and going to countless sporting events. But the one activity that we all did together (that we are still doing together regularly even though they are now grown), is cooking in my kitchen.
And today, it was my grandson who helped me create this energy bite recipe below. It looks like he has inherited his dad’s cooking skills, so I let him include some of his favorite ingredients. We all loved the finished product and I’m sure you’ll agree when you pop these bite-sized balls into your mouth.
Feel free to change up the nut butter (sunflower seed butter works well for those who have nut allergies) and add your favorite dried fruit (like dates, figs, and so on).
